Spa Policies and Essentials
Appointments
We require a credit card to secure your appointment at time of booking. Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to your appointment time so that you may enjoy a cup of tea, and relax in our lounge. Arriving early is especially important for your first appointment, as you will be asked to complete a spa intake form with questions regarding your health history and the specific needs and preferences you would like us to attend to during your service.
Your treatment will begin and end promptly at the scheduled times. If you arrive late, we will be unable to give you the full service time, so that we stay on schedule for the convenience of our other guests.
Online Appointments
Appointments can be scheduled online. To do this, you must be pre-registered in our system. During your first visit to Shine Spa, you will be asked if you want to schedule online, and you will be given an ID and a password. You may also call and ask to be registered.
To schedule an appointment online, please go to our home page and click on Appointments. You will be asked for your ID number and password. The system will then walk you through the process of scheduling an appointment.
Cancellations
We ask that you notify us to cancel or change your appointment 24 hours in advance. No shows or late cancellations will be subjected to a fee of 50% of the total session time and will be billed to your credit card on file.
Attire
You will be given a robe and spa slippers to change into before your treatment. While many people choose to wear no clothing under the sheets and towels when receiving a facial, massage or body treatment, feel free to wear your own undergarments, or even a bathing suit. We also can provide you with disposable undergarments if requested.
Personal Belongings
Shine Spa provides fully appointed changing areas for men and women, and you may store your belongings in lockers during your service. We request that you leave valuables at home, as Shine Spa cannot be responsible for loss of such items.
Cell Phones
We ask that you turn off your cell phone when entering Shine Spa to allow for maximum relaxation. Please be courteous of other guests and refrain from loud conversations in common areas.
Gift Certificates
Shine Spa gift certificates are available for purchase online or at Shine Spa in any dollar amount. To purchase gift certificates online, please go to our home page, and click on gift certificates, and follow the instructions.
Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in Shine Spa services and it is up to your discretion as to the amount you would like to tip. Gratuity may be paid in cash, check or credit card.
Payment
Shine Spa accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card. We also accept Spa Finder gift certificates. We regret that we do not accept personal checks at this time.
Returns
Shine Spa will accept the return of any unopened and unused merchandise in its original packaging within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt.
Children
Due to safety and noise considerations, children under the age of 12 are not allowed at Shine Spa. Parental consent is required for clients under the age of 18.
Parking
Designated parking is available directly across from Shine Spa. There is limited on street parking available. Please be sure to allow yourself ample time for parking.
